Brollo: live rain at your places in Bengaluru

TestingBuilt in 1 day

What it is

Brollo tells you whether it's raining right now at the places you care about in Bengaluru, and how much has fallen today, from real weather stations.

Why I built it

An early version showed the same 16% chance of rain at my home and my office, which are nowhere near each other. That number was a forecast for a patch of 25 to 40 km, not for a street. So Brollo reads rain measured at stations close to each place instead.

What's different

It shows rain that was actually measured near your place, and says when it was last checked, instead of a citywide chance.

How it was built

Built in 1 day with Claude, from my own spec. Started October 2026.

Brollo's Today screen: Bengaluru neighbourhoods with rain so far today and when each was last checked, next to a map of weather stations.
