What it is
The House of 1400 is a newspaper written for one reader, me, and published every afternoon at two.
Why I built it
It replaced the scheduled newspapers I used to have ChatGPT and Claude write. It exists so I don't have to check the news anywhere else, so a missed big story is the worst thing that can happen. Every miss becomes a rule that stops it happening again.
What's different
It runs on house rules: sources before rumours, no AI writing tells, and a check that has to pass before an edition goes out.
How it was built
Built in 9 days with Claude, from my own spec. Started September 2026.
